Social Responsibility

Vesta is well aware of its social responsibility obligations in the post-apartheid era and has chosen to partner with its customers and to support their various social responsibility initiatives. We see this as a way of returning value to the community that we service.

 

Some of the initiatives that Vesta has supported are:

 

Education - Vesta donated computers, loaded with the full Microsoft Office Suite of programs, together with desks and chairs, which were then allocated to 10 needy schools in Potchefstroom. The recipient schools were identified by the Mayor.

 

Small business Development - Vesta donated computers to entrepreneurs who required these for the management of their respective businesses. These donations were done through Potchefstroom City Council’s Municipal Manager.

 

Aids Orphans – Vesta has supported, and will continue to do so, the Mayor of Potchefstroom’s initiative to raise funds for aids orphans, the fund-raising having taken the form of corporate golf days for the last two years.

 

Small business Development - Vesta donated business equipment for business development on Merafong.

 

Welfare - Vesta’s involvement with the Rainbow Airbridge Trust supports the delivery of medicine and equipment to needy people throughout South Africa.
